When custom software makes sense
Off-the-shelf software is the right answer more often than developers admit. Custom software earns its cost when your process is what sets you apart, when you're paying for five tools that each do a third of the job, or when people spend hours a week moving data from one system to another by hand.

What's the difference between custom software and a website?
A website tells people about your business. Custom software does work for it — tracking jobs, handling orders, managing customers, producing reports. Many projects are a bit of both, like a website with a customer portal behind a login.
Who owns the code?
You do. The code, the data, and the accounts it runs on are yours, so you're never locked in to us.
Can you work with the software we already have?
Usually, yes. Most business tools have an API or an export we can connect to. Where they don't, we'll tell you honestly what's possible before you commit to anything.
How much does custom software cost?
It ranges widely with scope, so we scope it with you first and quote a fixed price per phase. A small internal tool and a full customer platform are very different projects, and you'll know which you're buying before work starts.
